Paul Thomas Andersons highly anticipated film The Master will open in theaters in just a matter of weeks, but theres still time for one more trailer.
The latest clip features the incessant drumming of Joaquin Phoenixs character as Philip Seymour Hoffman gives a haunting speech that begins: “Man is not an animal.”

The film, which hits theaters beginning Sept. 14, follows Hoffmans Lancaster Dodd, a charismatic leader who establishes a new religion in the 1950s. Phoenix plays one of Dodds closest disciples, an alcoholic drifter named Freddie Sutton.

The film, which also stars Amy Adams, Jesse Plemmons and Laura Dern, will first make stops at the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival before its wide release.
The Weinstein Co.s The Master will have a limited release on Sept. 14, with a wider release on Sept. 21.
